The first report has surfaced of the Raiders claiming a player off waivers. They have claimed defensive end Benson Mayowa from the Seahawks, according to USA Today's Tom Pelissero.
Super Bowl champion #Seahawks lost two on waivers: guard Caylin Hauptmann to #Browns and DL Benson Mayowa to #Raiders.

The Raiders play the Seahawks every preseason and recently they have claimed players off waivers from the now reigning Super Bowl champions. Mayowa clearly impressed the Raiders with his three tackles in the game.
The 6-3, 252-pound pass rusher is originally from Nigeria and was an undrafted free agent last season out of Idaho. He played in two games for the Seahawks last season.
Though he played at defensive end for the Seahawks, he was considered more of an outside linebacker prospect coming out of college. And with the team looking for a backup linebacker on the strongside behind Kahlil Mack.
There's no official word yet on who the Raiders have cut to make room on the roster, but Kaelin Burnett has tweeted that he's been released.
