The Raiders have announced they have signed undrafted rookie linebacker Spencer Hadley to their training camp roster. To make room on the roster, they waived/injured linebacker Marshall McFadden, who had missed most of camp with a hip flexor injury.

Hadley was originally signed by the New Orleans Saints in May following the draft. They later waived him following June minicamps.

The 6-foot-1, 227-pounder played in 43 games over four seasons at Brigham Young, totaling 149 tackles (77 solo), 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. His senior season was cut short last year after six games due to a season-ending knee injury.

The Raiders were a bit thin at linebacker with McFadden out injured along with Kaluka Maiava. Sio Moore missed some time as well with a rib injury and is being eased back into the lineup. The Raiders had released linebacker Kevin Burnett prior ot training camp and had yet to sign a player to replace him on the roster.
