Week two begins tonight when the Ravens take on the Steelers. Week one of the new NFL season is usually a rough one. Teams are often so different from year to year, it can be hard to predict what will happen right out the gates.
Marcus was the only one to pick the Dolphins over the Patriots and it was a big reason why he was tied for the best record with a 10-6 mark. Imagine if he hadn't been a homer and picked the Packers to beat the Seahawks IN SEATTLE. Also coming in with a 10-6 record was RDreamer and Jeff, which is not bad for the opening game.
I am beginning in last place, mainly because I somehow thought the Cowboys would beat the 49ers. I underestimated the ineptitude of a team so desperate they signed Rolando McClain to start at middle linebacker.
Anywho, this week I look to rebound but that may be difficult considering the overwhelming number of consensus picks. There are ten total picks that are across the board by the staff -- Steelers, Dolphins, Cardinals, Patriots, Saints, Buccaneers, Seahawks, Packers, Broncos, and 49ers. Two other games have just one defector with RDreamer picking the Jaguars, and Asher picking the Falcons. Who knows, it might be three, depending on who RDreamer picks to win the Raiders game.
Here are those picks.
