The Raiders are limping into the week after their beatdown at the hands of the Houston Texans on Sunday. Missing from practice today were several starters including Justin Tuck, Maurice Jones-Drew, Sio Moore, and Rod Streater. Not practicing was Carlos Rogers. This according to multiple reports from media on hand.
Sio Moore and Rod Streater were both injured in the game Sunday. Moore suffered an ankle injury and Streater has a hip flexor. Maurice Jones-Drew was out for the game after having a procedure done on his injured hand. The injury situation of Tuck and Rogers are not known as of yet. Dennis Allen will shed light on them in his press conference this afternoon.
Also according to onloookers, middle linebacker Nick Roach is participating in practice more than he had previously. The injury report will tell us if he is officially a full participant at practice.
The Raiders are preparing this week to head to New England to face the Patriots and being without several starters would make that game even tougher than it already expects to be. The statuses of these players will be important to note as the week goes on.
