The good news is the absence of Justin Tuck is illness and not injury. But there is far more bad news than good on this week's injury report.
Others not practicing were Maurice Jones-Drew, Sio Moore, Carlos Rogers, and Rod Streater.
Carlos Rogers' has a knee injury as it turns out. His status is uncertain for the game this week in New England.
Nick Roach is still limited in practice with the concussion he suffered way back in the team's third preseason game. Dennis Allen said he's progressing, but Roach still remains limited officially.
Chimdi Chekwa, who had returned this week from a knee injury, is once again limited with a knee injury.
Matt McCants returned to practice and was officially limited after missing a couple weeks with a knee injury.
