The Raiders held their Play 60 event Tuesday in Surrey England. Among those players attending the event was linebacker Miles Burris who was sporting a protective walking boot on his right foot. Burris has been starting at middle linebacker all this season in place of Nick Roach who has been out with a concussion he suffered in the preseason.
Along with the injury to Sio Moore -- who missed last Sunday's game at New England with an ankle injury -- the Raiders linebacking corps is already very thin and can ill afford to be without Burris.
There is a distinct possibility that the walking boot in just a precaution. If it were a serious injury, the team would probably have opted not to have him accompany them to London as well as the community event.
While other Raiders players went through physical activities with the kids, Burris ran to eye black station with the kids.
The Raiders practice Wednesday so I'll update his status then.
