NFL playoff picks and predictions: Divisional round

New, comments
Thomas J. Russo-USA TODAY Sports

The biggest weekend in the NFL is upon us. It's where eight Playoff teams will face off for the right to head to their Conference Championship games. Prior to the Wildcard games, the S&BP staff made their predictions. Here are how those picks are currently going:

Name Conferences Wildcard Wildcard Conference Conference Superbowl SB Champ
Levi AFC Steelers Colts Patriots Broncos Patriots Seahawks
NFC Panthers Cowboys Seahawks Cowboys Seahawks
Marcus AFC Steelers Bengals Broncos Bengals Broncos Packers
NFC Cowboys Cardinals Packers Seahawks Packers
RDreamer AFC Ravens Bengals Patriots Broncos Patriots Seahawks
NFC Cowboys Panthers Seahawks Cowboys Seahawks
Asher AFC Steelers Colts Patriots Broncos Packers Packers
NFC Cowboys Cardinals Packers Seahawks Patriots
Tyler AFC Steelers Colts Patriots Broncos Patriots Patriots
NFC Panthers Cowboys Packers Seahawks Packers

Among the fan entries, we can't yet get an actual idea of who will be in the lead until after this weekend. But out of 28 entries, all predicted Super Bowl winners are still alive and 3 had perfect Wildcard weekends. Those entrants were:

Again, it's still anyone's game. The leaders may not even come from those who had perfect Wildcard predictions. But kudos to them for a solid opening weekend.
