NFL week 4 game picks: Can Raiders keep it going in Chicago?

After a brutal week two in which only one of the staff didn't have a losing record (yours truly at 8-8), we have what could be the best week of picks ever. One in which six of seven staffers had a record of 14-2 or better. The better was Nitesh who pulled down a 15-1 record. The one worse was Jeff, who was apparently attempting (and succeeding) to sabotage his previous spot at the top of the rankings with a 9-7 record.

For once, it was the one person who did NOT pick the Raiders to win that turned out to be wrong (Jeff). The rest of us correctly picked the Raiders breaking their long drought in the East and pulling off their second-straight victory to improve to 2-1 on the season.

This week it looks again to be a clean sweep* of predictions that the Raiders will win. And why not, it is the first time in three years they've been favored on the road. That's not for nothing. Not that it matters, they weren't favored last week and we all (but one) knew better.

Other picks we all agree on are the Falcons over the Texans, Colts over the Jags, Bengals kicking the Chiefs farther down the stairs, the old US capital city over the new one, the Chargers rebounding against the Browns, the Packers taking a bye week in San Francisco, the Cards beating the Rams, and the Seahawks over the cowardly Lions.

And just to put us in our place, so we don't think we're geniuses at this stuff, the fans put up some impressive numbers as well. Here are the best of last week, courtesy of Adds99. All but one of these top predictions picked the Raiders to win. I won't call out the one who didn't, I will let them admit it if they feel so inclined.
