Friday's 'final' injury report listed defensive back TJ Carrie as being OUT for Sunday's game against the Broncos. He suffered a chest injury early in last Sunday's game against the Bears that had him miss practice all week. Now, it appears just a day later, his situation has improved because the Raiders have officially upgraded Carrie to questionable for the game.
Carrie had said earlier this week that his chest was just bruised, which was good news for the long term injury prognosis, but not necessarily for his status for this week.
Should it turn out that Carrie is able to play Sunday, it would help a great deal. The Raiders will have a difficult enough time defending Peyton Manning as it is, without losing their top defensive back.
Carrie moved over from his cornerback position to safety two weeks ago and has played well. He replaced Nate Allen who was placed on partial season injured reserve.
