As it turns out, the results from Justin Tuck's MRI are indeed "not good", as Jack Del Rio stated Wednesday. Shortly after Del Rio's candid moment, NFL Network reported the team suspected it was a torn pectoral muscle, which would at very least cost him much of the season, if not land him on injured reserve. As it turns out, it is the latter according to a report from CSN Bay Area's Scott Bair.
It is likely we have seen Tuck's last game in a Raiders uniform. The 32-year-old defensive end is on the second year of a two-year deal he signed during the 2014 off-season.
His presence on the defensive line will be missed, and perhaps even more so his presence in the locker room. The 2-time Super Bowl winner was a valuable veteran presence and leader on a young rebuilding squad.
