The Wednesday injury report for both the Raiders and Chargers is out. And while the Raiders got healthy over the bye week, the Chargers are banged up with nine players missing practice, including several starters.
Latavius Murray's full participation is key for the Raiders. He left in the fourth quarter against the Broncos in week 5 with a shoulder injury and didn't return. The Raiders will need him at full strength when they face the Chargers. Also a full participant on the injury report for the first time in a while was special teams maven, Taiwan Jones.
Not practicing still for the Raiders was defensive tackle, Justin Ellis. Charles Woodson got his usual Wednesday practice off. And with four interceptions in three weeks, it's clearly working for him and the Raiders.
Veteran tight end Antonio Gates got his usual Wednesday practice off too. He is a bit banged up with a knee injury which he suffered last week, but he returned to the game afterward, so he figures to be fine.
Other Chargers starters statuses are less certain. Inlcluding Melvin Gordon, Eric Weddle, Keenan Allen, Manti Te'o, and DJ Fluker.
Returning to practice this week for the Chargers after missing a couple weeks with a concussion was left tackle King Dunlap. Stevie Johnson also returned to practice for the first time in two weeks.
