Thursday several members of the media spoke with Latavius Murray. Wednesday he was not made available because he had not been cleared to return to practice from the concussion he suffered on a hard hit he took last Sunday against the Steelers. Merely speaking to the media is a good indication he could be back to practice today. He also said he is free from symptoms and feels good.
Latavius Murray said he's symptom free from the concussion. Undetermined if he'll practice today or not yet. #Raiders

UPDATE: Latavius Murray did in facdt return to practice Thursday
He of course can't commit to playing Sunday because concussion symptoms can often crop back up later in the week. He will be checked every day from now until game day to be sure he is ready to resume playing. But his availability today and his words are an encouraging sign that he could take the field Sunday when the Raiders face the Vikings.
