2016 NFL Draft Order: Once top playoff contender, Raiders now in line for top ten draft pick

Winds shift pretty drastically in a short period of time in the NFL. Just a few weeks ago, the Raiders were coming off two decisive victories, were 4-3, a wild card favorite and jumped into the top ten in power rankings across the sports world. Now their fortunes have changed dramatically.

Since then the Raiders have gone on a three-game losing streak, are now 4-6 on the season, and have jumped into the top ten in the 2016 draft order with six games remaining on the schedule.

Here is how the top of the draft currently lines up:

1. Cleveland Browns: 2-8 (.500 strength of schedule) 
2. San Diego Chargers: 2-8 (.513 SOS) 
3. Tennessee Titans: 2-8 (.519 SOS) 
4. Baltimore Ravens: 3-7 (.494 SOS) 
5. Detroit Lions: 3-7 (.519 SOS) 
6. San Francisco 49ers: 3-7 (.531 SOS) 
7. Dallas Cowboys: 3-7 (.544 SOS) 
8. Miami Dolphins: 4-6 (.481 SOS - 2-5 in conference) 
9. Oakland Raiders: 4-6 (.481 SOS - 4-3 in conference) 
10. Jacksonville Jaguars: 4-6 (.487 SOS) 
11. St. Louis Rams: 4-6 (.506 SOS - 3-4 in conference) 
12. Washington: 4-6 (.506 SOS - 4-3 in conference) 
13. Chicago Bears: 4-6 (.513 SOS) 
14. Philadelphia Eagles: 4-6 (.525 SOS) 
15. New Orleans Saints: 4-6 (.531 SOS)

As you can see the Raiders are ninth in the draft order near the top of eight teams all with 4-6 records on the season.
