Tonight is a big divisional rivalry with the 9-0 New England Patriots at home in Foxboro against Rex Ryan's Buffalo Bills. The Patriots are obviously still undefeated and playing at home they are almost always victorious. Tom Brady is a legitimate MVP candidate no matter how many people dislike him, although he will be without his top receiver with Julian Edelman out with an injury. Oh, and Gronk, they still have Rob Gronkowski.
The Buffalo Bills on the other hand are led by their running attack with rookie sensation Karlos Williams and LeSean McCoy, but don't overlook their passing game either. Tyrod Taylor has been a pleasant surprise for them all season and he finally has his top WR Sammy Watkins looking healthy and hungry. They also have an excellent defense as you would expect from a Rex Ryan led team.
The odds are against any undefeated team making it through their season unscathed, though the Patriots were the 2nd team to accomplish it back in 2007. There is a good chance they will lose an unexpected game some time before the end of the season, why not tonight against a wildcard contending team?
Oddly enough, Raiders fans should be rooting against that happening on the off-chance the Raiders make a run themselves for the final AFC playoff spot. It serves them better for the Bills to lose and the hated Patriots to win.
Everybody on the Silver & Black Pride staff in the Picks for this week chose the New England Patriots to win this game.
