Raiders at Steelers inactives: TJ Carrie is inactive

What was feared this week has come to pass. TJ Carrie will not play. He came into the game questionable with shoulder and hip injuries and is now officially inactive. In preparation for this possibility the team called up Tevin McDonald from the practice squad as depth at the safety position. They also added Marcus Thigpen this week to take over his return duties.

Expected to take Carrie's spot at safety is Larry Asante.

Also notable among the inactives is Roy Helu Jr. He is a healthy scratch along with wide receiver Rod Streater who has been inactive for nearly every game this season.
