For the second time this season the Raiders take the field in the wee hours of the morning Pacific Time (10am). That usually means the dreaded Eastern Time Zone. They broke a 16-game losing streak in the Eastern Time Zone with their win in Cleveland in week three. Now they go back to the scene of the crime in Pittsburgh which was the location of their last EST win before that, way back in the year of our Gradkowski and savior, two thousand aught nine.
The Steelers have one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Ben Roethlisberger. He is on his second game back from injury that caused him to miss several weeks. But he is very beatable. The Raiders have beaten him two-straight times and 4 out of their last 5 meetings. Although just once in Pittsburgh during that time.
It's a playoff atmosphere in Pittsburgh today with both teams sitting at four wins and very much in the wild card chase. It's been a long time since we could say that about the Raiders. Not since 2011 when they were also 4-3 after seven games.
