Raiders work out safety Stevie Brown, two others

Raiders fans have been calling for the Raiders to bring back safety Stevie Brown for some time now. Tuesday, the Raiders are giving him a look as they had him in for a workout, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.

Brown was originally a seventh round pick by the Raiders. He spent his rookie season in Oakland, appearing in 15 games with one start. He was a playmaker and fan favorite, but the team opted for second round pick Mike Mitchell and cut Brown who later spent three seasons with the New York Giants. He has not appeared in a game this season.

Also in for a workout this week were linebacker Emmanuel Acho and safety Chris Clemons.

Clemons is a 7-year safety who has played with the Cardinals the past two seasons. He was a former 5-year starter for the Dolphins.

Acho has played on three teams in his three seasons in the NFL. He appeared in 14 games last season with the Eagles, starting two.
