Straight Outta Compton SAG nomination

It was announced today that the blockbuster NWA biopic "Straight Outta Compton" has been nominated for a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. The powerful film features some knockout performances across the board, including Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E (center), Corey Hawkins as Dr Dre (up right), Aldis Hodge as MC Ren (right), Neil Brown Jr as DJ Yella (up left), Paul Giamatti as agent Jerry Heller (not pictured), and O'Shea Jackson Jr in the role of his father, Ice Cube (left).

Jackson Jr stopped by the set of NFL Network's NFL Fantasy Live repping his Raiders gear as you might expect.

Raiders paraphernalia was prominently featured in Straight Outta Compton as the Raiders logo and colors were a big part of N.W.A.'s image in the 80's -- as you can see in the cast photo with Aldis Hodge (MC Ren) sporting a Raiders cap. Ice Cube himself is the self proclaimed President of the Raider Nation.

Congratulations to the entire cast of Straight Outta Compton. A SAG nomination is well deserved. If you haven't seen it, I can't recommend it enough.
