Raiders vs Broncos Inactives: Nate Allen, Roy Helu among inactive players

New, comments
Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

The Oakland Raiders walk into Denver relatively healthy, though the Broncos are not too banged up either. The most notable Raiders to be missing in action today are starting safety Nate Allen and back up running back Roy Helu. The good news is that starting center Rodney Hudson is active and so is kick returner and back up running back Taiwan Jones.

Here are the inactive players for both teams:

Raiders

S Nate Allen

RB  Roy Helu, Jr

OL Jon Feliciano

OL Matt McCants

DL  Shelby Harris

WR  Rod Streater

TE  Gabe Holmes

When Nate Allen was injured earlier in the year the Raiders moved starting corner T.J. Carrie into his position. Taylor Mays gets the start in this one.

Taiwan Jones is healthy, landing Roy Helu Jr back among the inactives. With Jon Feliciano and Matt McCants inactive, Khalif Barnes will suit up as depth on the offensive line.

Broncos

QB Peyton Manning

S T,J. Ward

LB Danny Trevathan

S Omar Bolden

WR Andre Caldwell

S David Bruton

C Sam Brenner

The Broncos are missing some pretty key players, most notably being of course Peyton Manning. With Manning's struggles throughout the season before being injured and the solid play of back up Brock Osweiler makes that injury not nearly as troublesome as one might have thought before the season. LB Danny Trevathan is a leader of the defense and an aggressive player to be missing, as is starting safety T.J. Ward. Trevathan will be replaced at inside linebacker by Corey Nelson and Ward will be replaced by Josh Bush.
