The Raiders lost one of their three Pro Bowl players today when the word came down that fullback Marcel Reece will be suspended four games for violation of the league's policy on Performance Enhancing Drugs. The suspension will begin immediately, cost him his fourth straight Pro Bowl appearance and extend into next season.

"We were informed today that that is the case," Jack Del Rio said of Reece's suspension. "I just hope at some point the league takes a good look at that process, see if it makes sense, if there's room there for something to be done that could work for everyone. And just. But we understand what's occurred and what the result is and we'll abide and carry on without Marcel.

"I know he's disappointed and doesn't really feel like it's justified."

Del Rio went on to say that Jamize Olawale will see more work in Reece's absence and Roy Helu Jr will likely be activated to fill the void as well.
