Ooh, this movie looks good. It's a long time coming for this film to come out and yet it seems the perfect time for its release. It's called 'Straight Outta Compton" after the title of the debut studio album of rap group N.W.A. who earned their names with hardcore rap from the streets of Compton California, a Los Angeles Suburb.

We all know the names Ice Cube, Dr Dre, and Eazy E who were the most iconic rappers of the group. They set a new standard for West Coast rap and their heydey was at a time in LA when the story of the ghetto and the black man's place in it was one that needed told.

That also just so happened to be the same time period the Raiders called LA home. And N.W.A. took on the Raiders team gear and colors as their own.

Ice Cube directed and was featured in this ESPN 30 for 30 "Straight Outta L.A." about the Raiders' affect on Los Angeles and Hip Hop.
