After the hiring of Ken Norton Jr as the Raiders Defensive Coordinator, it left just one position coach yet to be hired -- Defensive Line coach. No sooner was the DC hire announced, but the Raiders reportedly have their Defensive Line coach as well.

That hire is expected to be University of Miami Defensive Line coach Jethro Franklin according to Sports Illustrated's Thayer Evans.

Franklin worked with new DC Ken Norton Jr at USC back in 2005 and again in 2009 as their Defensive Line coach under Pete Carroll. He then moved on to take the same position in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006 and the Houston Texans in 2007-08.

Franklin has been the DL coach for the University of Miami for the past four seasons. The Raiders also reached into the college ranks for their linebackers coach, Sal Sunseri who coached the defensive line at Florida State last season with a previous 3-year stint as LB coach at Alabama.
