The so-named ‘legal tampering period' has begun. This is the time when NFL teams may contact agents of prospective free agents to see if a deal can be worked out. This period will last three days, ending next Tuesday, March 10 at 1:00pm Pacific Time (4:00pm Eastern). That is the start of the new league year, better known as the opening of free agency.
Over the past couple weeks, I had compiled lists of upcoming free agents whom I expect the Raiders to show great interest in signing. I divided them by position, but here is the list of those free agents in order of priority regardless of position.
