With the gaping hole to fill at safety after the release of Tyvon Branch, the Raiders were expected to look to fill it in free agency. The first reported interest is in former Bills strong safety, Da'Norris Searcy, who has received interest from four teams according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

The 26-year-old safety was expected to receive some fairly significant interest in free agency. He was rated as the third best free agent safety by Pro Football Focus in an overall very good safety free agent class.
As Anderson notes, the interest is preliminary so it's likely he is one of several safeties in whom the Raiders will show interest. Others who could receive interest are Patriots safety Devin McCourty and Broncos safety Rahim Moore.
