With Ndamukong Suh reportedly agreeing to terms with the Miami Dolphins, they are expected to let Jared Odrick hit free agency. This was an inevitability we reported on Saturday with the Raiders as a top potential landing spot. Now the Miami Sun Sentinal is reporting the Raiders are not only actively pursuing Odrick, but they are expected to sign him.

The Dolphins' full time starting defensive tackle is believed to be seeking a contract somewhere in the neighborhood of $7 million per season.
Behind Suh, Odrick and Terrance Knighton are arguably the best defensive tackles on the market and the Raiders have shown interest in signing both players.
There has been a lot of talk of free agent interest on the part of the Raiders -- and to be clear this report does not suggest there is anything forthcoming for certain with regard to Odrick -- but this is the first actual report involving the Raiders and an expected signing. Perhaps it will act as a small sigh of relief for those who were becoming worried about many of the top free agents agreeing to terms elsewhere while there was no real news from the Raiders.
Update: Since this posting, Pro Football Talk is reporting Jacksonville as the likely landing spot for Odrick, citing sources. We will all know for certain soon.
