Raiders 'in the hunt' for free agent Mike Iupati

The Raiders need a guard. Not even an upgrade, but just simply need a guard. Their starting right guard last season was Austin Howard and he is moving back to right tackle, leaving a vacancy at right guard.

The top guard on the market was considered Orlando Franklin. He is 'unofficially' signed with the Chargers. The next one the list is 49ers guard, Mike Iupati and according to Jason La Canfora, the Raiders are among a handful of teams 'in the hunt' for his services.

Continue to hear SF, OAK, NYJ, BUF among those in the hunt for Mike Iupati. Would tend to think he's moving on from 49ers at this point

Iupati has played left guard his entire career, so the Raiders would either have to move him to right guard or move Gabe Jackson from his left guard spot to right guard.
