Washington CB Marcus Peters to visit Raiders

There haven't been a lot of top tier prospects who have been reported as visiting the Raiders this offseason. Marcus Peters is definitely a top tier talent and he will now be visiting the team, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Peters is projected to be drafted somewhere between the mid-first round and early second round. The Raiders have the 35th pick in the top of the second round.

There are questions about Peters' character and it could be the reason the Raiders feel the need to have him in for a visit.

While an extremely talented player, Peters was kicked off the Washington team last season after several run-ins with his coaches that had resulted in multiple suspensions.

He is a physical corner who has sound technique in coverage and as well as a solid tackler. He led the team with 5 interceptions as a junior in 2013. The 6-0, 198-pounder has first round talent but is making the rounds right now as teams need to feel like they can trust his character.

He has also visited the 49ers and Falcons.
