Heading into free agency this year, the Raiders placed tenders on five restricted free agents. Now all of those restricted free agents have reportedly signed those tenders.
First it was Marquette King and Rod Streater who were reportedly signing their tenders on Monday according to CSN Bay Area. Then on Tuesday, the same day the team was to begin the first phase of offseason workouts, Andre Holmes and Larry Asante reportedly signed their tenders as well.
The only one left unaccounted for was Brandian Ross, who Tuesday evening tweeted that he had signed his tender that morning. This means all were signed and ready to go for the first day of offseason workouts even thought they had until April 24 to do it, thus taking care of one major piece of business so they can get down to the business of preparing for next season along with the rest of their teammates.
All players received original round tenders except Rod Streater who received a 2nd round tender.
They had a total of seven players who were to be RFA's, but opted not to put tenders on Chimdi Chekwa and Kory Sheets who then became unrestricted free agents on March 10. Chekwa has since signed with the New England Patriots.
