And for the second time in his nine-year career, Kevin Boothe's time in Oakland ends after one season. The Raiders former sixth round pick in 2006 returned to the team after 7 seasons with the Giants. He signed last offseason and now will be released according to Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo.
Raiders are releasing OL Kevin Boothe. Nine-year veteran appeared in nine games for the team last year. Could get a look elsewhere.

Just two days following the addition of ten new players through the draft, the cuts have been coming fast and furious today with the already reported releases of James Jones and Miles Burris.
Boothe was a reserve center and interior lineman for the Raiders. He was expected to battle with Khalif Barnes for the vacant right guard spot, but with the team using a fourth round pick on Miami guard Jon Feliciano, Boothe fell deeper in the rotation and was let go.
He appeared in nine games last season with no starts.
