Durham is a four-year veteran receiver, having played for the Seahawks, Lions, and Titans. The 6-6, 216-pounder was originally a Seahawks 4th round pick out of Georgia. His best season came in 2013 when he started 13 games for the Lions, collecting 38 catches for 490 yards and two touchdowns. Over his career he has 55 receptions for 699 yards (12.7 avg.) and three touchdowns.
Williams appeared in 47 games with 10 starts over four years at Virginia Tech. The 6-2, 215-pound linebacker had a career 101 tackles (44 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. Nine of those starts came as a senior in 2014 where he put up a respectable 72 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
With the additions of Durham and Williams, the Raiders waived tight end Scott Simonson and waived/injured linebacker Jacoby Hale. Simonson was a 2014 undrafted free agent who spent much of last season on the practice squad and appeared in four games last season with no offensive stats. Hale was an undrafted free agent signing following the 2015 draft.
In addition to these moves, formerly waived/injured 7th round rookie WR/KR Andre Debose cleared waivers and was placed on injured reserve. The team also waived LB Miles Burris from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
