For those of you who were rooting for undrafted free agent rookie Austin Willis to make the Raiders roster out of camp, there is some bad new this morning. According to Aaron Wilsion of the National Football Post Willis will be officially released today.

Willis went undrafted last May and was a priority signing following the draft out of Emporia State. The 5-9, 175-pounder was competing for a wide receiver spot as well as as a return man.
The former walk-on came to Emporia State on a track scholarship. He runs a 4.38 40-yard dash and is undeniably fast. Though in his time with the team this offseason and in training camp, he was unable to get open consistently. In the return game, he was stuck behind Trindon Holliday, Taiwan Jones, and T.J. Carrie.
