Taking the training camp practice field for the Raiders for the first time this year was Stacy McGee. He had been on the Physically Unable to Perform list the first six days of training camp. He will now have five practices to prepare for the Raiders preseason opener against the Rams on August 14.

McGee is entering his third year in the league since the Raiders selected him in the sixth round of the 2013 draft. He is in a tough competition for a roster spot and will need to play some catch-up with the time  he has missed.

The team added Dan Williams in the offseason to start at defensive tackle along with returning starter, Justin Ellis. McGee's competition will once again come from Ricky Lumpkin for a reserve spot along with C.J. Wilson, Shelby Harris, and undrafted rookie Leon Orr.
