Regular season NFL Football is just hours away (depending on when you read this it could be minutes away). The Steelers are in Foxboro Mass to face the Patriots on NBC Thursday Night Football.

The Patriots have been one of the more controversial teams this offseason, what with Ballghazi and new allegations with regard to Spygate. Now the NFL will have so many eyeballs in Gillette Stadium, it will be like.... well it will be like Gillette Stadium. Except the eyes and ears will be on the Patriots as opposed to the Patriots eyes, ears, and grubby fingers on the opposing team. Every ball will be properly inflated and every camerman and coach to player radio signal will be monitored.

I think that will give the Patriots performance anxiety. But the betting line disagrees, which makes sense considering their the defending champs*.

Patriots (-6.5) vs. Steelers
