Here it is, folks. The 2015 season opener with the Cincinnati Bengals coming to Oakland to face the Raiders. The stars for the Bengals include wide receiver AJ Green and running back Jeremy Hill on offense and Geno Atkins on defense. Those three will be the toughest to stop this week and will require constant focus from the Raiders to keep them from going off.
Andy Dalton catches a lot of criticism for not being able to lead the Bengals to a playoff win, but he had led the team to a winning record and a berth in the playoffs the past four seasons. He is a more than capable passer and can do some serious damage
To stop Dalton and company, the Raiders will be relying on their pass rush led by Khalil Mack and with hopefully some contributions from recently signed Aldon Smith. They will need the pass rush to mask their issues in the secondary with an extremely young and vulnerable group of cornerbacks.
The Raiders' offensive line is Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde on each side. The left side of Donald Penn, Gabe Jackson, and Rodney Hudson is strong, while the right side of J'Marcus Webb and Austin Howard is extremely suspect.
Nuts and bolts
*Add Aldon Smith, remove Lavar Edwards
