Raiders QB Derek Carr leaves opener early with hand injury vs Bengals

The Raiders have had a lot of injury to add to their insult against the Bengals in their season opener. Not only are they down 24-0, but Derek Carr left for the locker room with a hand injury before half time and is questionable to return.

he suffered the injury on a scramble attempt in which he tried to reach for the first down and had the ball knocked out and fumbled out of bounds.

Carr wasn't playing well prior to his exit. He went 7 for 12 for 61 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions for a 71.9 passer rating. He was off target on most of his incompletions and his longest completion was mostly yards after the catch with a couple nice moves from Amari Cooper for a 25-yard gain.

Matt McGloin took his place in the lineup and has not lit it up either. Neither has been able to get the Raiders even into field goal range in this game.

Also leaving the game not to return was safety Nate Allen with a knee injury.
