The Oakland Raiders already played their game for Week 2 yesterday in a great win against the Baltimore Ravens, but that doesn't mean all of the football for Week 2 is done. We still got the Monday Night Game and it's about to get started, the match up being the Indianapolis Colts taking on the New York Jets at home at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Jets looked surprisingly good last week winning against the Cleveland Browns, while the Colts looked surprisingly bad in a loss against the Buffalo Bills. It will be interesting to see if the teams keep going in opposite than expected directions tonight. I visited the Jets SB Nation site Gang Green Nation and they are promoting this game as the start of a new rivalry which would make it an incredibly fun game to watch.
As for the Colts, they will be itching to show they really are the playoff worthy team that most thought that they were going into this season and that last week's loss against the Niners was just a fluke. They do have the best young QB in the game in Andrew Luck who is a good enough reason alone to watch this game. For coverage with the Colts' SB Nation perspective on it check out Stampede Blue.
Here is who are staff thinks will win this game:
Week 2 | Jeff | Marcus | Levi | RDreamer | Asher | Tyler G | Nitesh |
NY Jets at Indianapolis Colts | IND | IND | IND | IND | IND | IND | IND |
