Raiders Derek Carr, Amari Cooper up for weekly NFL awards

With the Raiders offense exploding on Sunday, scoring 37 points against the Ravens, a couple of young Raiders are up for weekly awards -- Derek Carr and Amari Cooper.

Derek Carr is nominated for FedEx Air and Ground Player of the Week.

Carr threw for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns Sunday. This included the game-winning drive in the final two minutes.

Others nominated are Ben Roethlisberger, Tom Brady, Adrian Peterson, Giovani Bernard, and Matt Jones.

Amari Cooper is up for Pepsi Rookie of the Week.

Cooper caught 7 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown. He had his biggest play on the team's opening drive, when he broke free from cornerback Jimmy Smith and took the Derek Carr pass 68 yards for the score.

Others nominated are David Johnson, Matt Jones, Jameis Winston, and Marcus Peters.
