Raiders S Charles Woodson nominated for Clutch Player of the Week

Last week, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr took home the award for the Castrol EDGE Clutch Player of the Week for his late, game-winning touchdown drive to beat the Ravens. This week, another Raider is up for the award. It's Mr Ironman himself, Charles Woodson who preserved the Raiders win last week with a game-sealing interception.

The Raiders were up 27-20 against the Browns and pinned the Browns at their own two-yard line with 2:26 left in the game. Then the Browns began their march down the field to try and tie the game. They drove 69 yards down field, as close as the 29-yard line, but on third and 14, McCown threw for his top receiver, Travis Benjamin, and Woodson swooped in from his safety position to intercept it and end the threat and the game.

Oh, and he did it two weeks removed from a dislocated shoulder.

There are five other players up for the award. They are Bengals WR AJ Green, Colts QB Andrew Luck, Panthers CB Josh Norman, and Falcons WR Julio Jones.
