Sunday, two Raiders receivers saw the practice field for the first time since training camp. Both tight end Clive Walford and wide receiver Andre Holmes were on the field for practice today according to multiple reports from media present.

Walford's return is the most anticipated. He was the team's third round draft choice last May and was the projected starter this season. Then he was injured in the pre-camp warm-up, causing him to miss the first nine days of training camp. He returned for two practices and played in the team's second preseason game in Minnesota, where he went out with an undisclosed injury again.

After missing the remainder of training camp and the final two preseason games, his status for the regular season was in question. He tweeted out that he would be ready and with five practice days until the team's regular season opener, he is back with his teammates.

Holmes broke his hand two weeks into training camp and was expected to miss 3-4 weeks which would have had him missing at least the season opener. His presence at practice suggests he could be ahead of schedule and might be available for the opener as well.
