Recently NFL.com put out there NFL preview in which their staff predicted who they think would win several of the season awards. Getting the most votes for Offensive rookie of the year was Raiders fourth overall pick wide receiver, Amari Cooper.

With seven of a 13 votes among the NFL.com staff, Cooper is easily their top pick for Offensive Rookie of the Year as no other player received more than two votes. Also receiving votes were Nelson Agholor (2), Melvin Gordon (2), Marcus Mariota (1), and Ameer Abdullah (1).

Here is what some of who voted for Cooper had to say about the Raiders rookie receiver:

Jeffri Chadiha:

He's the most polished receiver in this draft class and he's about to become Derek Carr's favorite target.

Adam Schein:

This one was tough. I love Ameer Abdullah and Nelson Agholor, who should both put up big numbers. But I think Cooper is going to have a fantastic season catching passes from Derek Carr in Oakland.

Charley Casserly:

He has a good young QB in Carr and should be the focal point of the offense.

Elliot Harrison:

How about some Raiders love? Cooper hauls in this award with 80-plus catches in his initial campaign.

Marc Sessler:

He's the unquestioned top talent among Oakland's receivers. He'll pile up numbers from wire to wire.

Bucky Brooks:

The Raiders' WR1 walks away with the award after notching a 100-catch season in Year 1.

Cooper was the third offensive player selected in the 2014 draft after the Buccaneers selected Jameis Winston at 1 and the Titans took Marcus Mariota at 2. The Jaguars selected Dante Fowler Jr at 3, just ahead of the Raiders' selection.
