New, comments

We continue the countdown of the Top 10 connections that helped boost Derek Carr and Amari Cooper into the Pro Bowl.

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

As the Raiders continue to improve,  AC/ DC is going to be a rallying cry among the Raider faithful. In just their first year together, the duo put up over 1000 yards and 6 TDs and indications are that 2015 was just an aperitif, wheting our appetite for what is to come. Stay tuned, it's going to get very very good, very very soon. Next up; the Pro Bowl.

Now enjoy this look back at the Top 5 AC/DC connections.

5. Shake Your Foundations

I get up slide across the floor
You wanna come I'll meet you at the door
No one can stop us 'cos we're feelin' too right
We're gonna steal our way around tonight

Aye, Aye, Oh, SHAKE YOUR FOUNDATIONS
Aye, Aye, Oh, SHAKE it to the floor

Q2, 1-10-GB 19 (:25) (Shotgun) D.Carr pass deep right to A.Cooper for 19 yards, TOUCHDOWN

Amari spent much of his first year as the X receiver in Musgrave's system, but at times, he was moved into the slot to give him a chance to attack the defense from a different place. It set up favorable matchups and put stress on off-defenders; just a little break or pause could set up a big play.

Here, Amari is slot right inside Andre Holmes. He runs a simple slant / corner route. CB Damarious Randall is slow to drop back deep and the safety Morgan Burnett can't keep up with Amari.

Derek Carr rolls to the right and makes the easy throw right on time.

4. You Shook Me All Night Long

'Cause the walls start shaking
The earth was quaking
My mind was aching
And we were making it and you

Shook me all night long
Yeah you shook me all night long

Q3, 2-8-GB 26 (6:54) D.Carr pass deep right to A.Cooper for 26 yards, TOUCHDOWN

Rookie 1st round pick, Damarious Randall is one of Green Bay's prized young talents and when they faced the Raiders, Randall was tasked with following Amari. And Amari was shaking free of him all game long.

The AC/DC connection had 120 yards, a 25 yard PI penalty, and 2 TDs, most of them against Randall.

AC gives Randall a little hesitation move, gets a clean outside release, and then explodes downfield. DC sees it and makes the quick throw to get the ball to Cooper before the safety can help. It's just a touch underthrown but Randall is beaten so badly that it's an easy catch.

3. If You Want Blood You Got It

It's criminal
There ought to be a law
Criminal
There ought to be a whole lot more
You get nothin' for nothin'
Tell me who can you trust
We got what you want
And you got the lust
If you want blood, you got it
If you want blood, you got it
Blood on the streets
Blood on the rocks
Blood in the gutter
Every last drop
You want blood
You got it
Yes you have

Q1, 3-8-OAK 32 (12:59) (Shotgun) D.Carr pass deep left to A.Cooper for 68 yards, TOUCHDOWN [C.Mosley]

Do you remember where you were when AC/DC go their first touchdown?

Amari runs a quick out and up and his beautiful route simply destroys CB Jimmy Smith; he's stuck trailing several yards behind as Cooper gets the ball and can't close the distance at all.

Derek sees the play and his eyes must have been like saucers. He delivers the ball perfectly placed and right on time. He stands tall in the pocket and shows some courage as he takes a big hit from free rusher CJ Mosely.

2. Shoot to Thrill

Shoot to thrill, play to kill
Too many women with too many pills
Shoot to thrill, play to kill
I got my gun at the ready, gonna fire at will
'Cause I shoot to thrill, and I'm ready to kill
I can't get enough, I can't get the thrill
I shoot to thrill, play to kill
Yeah, pull the trigger
Pull it,
Pull it, pull it, pull the trigger

Q2, 1-10-CHI 26 (11:17) D.Carr pass deep right to A.Cooper for 26 yards, TOUCHDOWN

From the slot, Amari navigates the traffic of the Bears' defense and runs to the corner with two chasing defenders. In a rolling pocket, Derek Carr sets up and makes the pin-point throw right to the back of the endzone, as perfect a pass as you'd want.

At full spring, Cooper reaches out and brings it in with a sweet basket catch.

Play was initially ruled incomplete, but on review, Cooper does get both feet inbounds.

1. Highway to Hell

No stop signs, speed limit
Nobody's gonna slow me down
Like a wheel, gonna spin it
Nobody's gonna mess me round
Hey satan, payed my dues
Playing in a rocking band
Hey momma, look at me
I'm on my way to the promised land

Q2, 1-10-OAK 48 (1:12) (Shotgun) D.Carr pass short left to A.Cooper for 52 yards, TOUCHDOWN

This play was not just the signature play for AC/DC, but it may have been the signature play for the Raiders' Entire Offense this year.

In the first 5 weeks of the season, the Offense looked good and showed that it had potential, but had not yet enlivened the Raider Nation. But after the Week 6 Bye Week, the Silver and Black Attack came out on fire against the Chargers and had a blitzkrieg for the next 3 weeks that would set Raiders' Fans expectations sky high.

This play was about as good as it gets for AC/DC with AC doing his best Percy Harvin broken-field running impression and DC getting the ball out perfectly on target and on time. But it was also a wonderful team effort from Seth Roberts' and Mychal Rivera's initial blocking to Rodney Hudson and Donald Penn leading the play to create a clear highway for Cooper to run.
