Watch: Raiders Amari Cooper 23-yard catch and run on second play of Pro Bowl

New, comments

With team Rice starting the game on offense, Amari Cooper got the start opposite Odell Beckham Jr. The first play was a pass to Browns tight end Gary Barnidge. The second play Eli Manning looked for the Raiders rookie phenom Amari Cooper.

Manning threw for Cooper on a comeback route with Adam "Pac Man" Jones in coverage. Pac Man has position, but can't quite get there as Cooper plucks it and turns up field, streaking up the left sideline for 23 yards. It was the longest play on the opening drive which resulted in a touchdown to open the game.

Some of you may remember the incident involving Pac Man Jones in the Raiders' season opener against the Bengals in which Jones ripped off Cooper's helmet and slammed Coop's head into it. They both have made amends since then, including as fellow Pro Bowlers.

Cooper made the Pro Bowl as an alternate, so it was a bit of a surprise to see him starting for Team Rice. He is Pro Bowl teammates with Raiders teammates Derek Carr on offense and Khalil Mack and Charles Woodson on defense. Latavius Murray is on Team Irvin.
