Thursday Night Football Open Thread: Broncos vs. Chargers

New, comments

Two of the Raiders' divisional rivals square off in a key AFC West tilt tonight.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Greetings, Raider fans! Tonight at 5:30 Pacific on NFL Network and streaming live on Twitter and on SBNation (link below) will be Broncos vs. Chargers, otherwise known as Mike McCoy's Last Stand. Speculation is rampant that if McCoy drops this game he will be in the unemployment line soon.

Trevor Siemien will be playing tonight for the Broncos, whose offense did not fare well last game against the Falcons. Can Siemien restore the balance that was shown in Denver's first few games, or will Joey Bosa eat him for dinner?

Can San Diego's patchwork offensive line hold up against the mighty Denver front seven, and can Felipe Rios throw fewer than three interceptions to the Broncos secondary?

We'll find out all these things and more on Thursday Night Football, and we'll take heart in the knowledge that someone in our division is going to have one more loss on their record after tonight. Go Charge go.

As always, stay tuned to Silver and Black Pride for the latest in Oakland Raiders news and notes.
