Texans-Broncos Monday Night Football open thread

New, comments

The Broncos really want to win tonight or risk taking a tumble in the division standings.

Tonight Brock Osweiler and the Texans are in Denver to face the Broncos. The Broncos hope to get revenge on their former quarterback who took the money and ran this offseason. And with the way Osweiler has played since joining the Texans, that shouldn’t be too difficult a task.

The Broncos started the season at 4-0, but after losing two-straight are just hoping to keep pace with the Raiders atop the AFC West. They also now have the now 4-2 Chiefs to contend with. Should the Broncos win, they will stay tied atop the division. Should they lose, they will fall to third in the division.

Just. Like. That.

So, yeah, it’s kind of important for them to win tonight to keep from hitting a three-game skid and tumbling in the standings.

Even with Osweiler not as hoped, the Texans are also 4-2 on the season, so they are no pushovers.
