NFL week 8 odds: 5-2 Raiders are somehow underdogs again to Buccaneers

I am really beginning to wonder about who is making these betting lines for the Raiders. Last week at 4-2, they were 1-point underdogs to the 2-win Jaguars. They dispensed with the Jags on their field 33-16 to improve to 5-2 only to find themselves once again underdogs to the 3-3 Buccaneeers in Tampa.

So far this season, the oddsmakers' line has favored to home team in each of the Raiders' road games. And every time, the Raiders have come out victorious. They are now 4-0 on the road this season -- all of those games having an early start time and two of which were in the Eastern time zone.

So, apparently Vegas oddsmakers must just think they're due.
