Thursday Night Football Game Time Open Thread

Two teams the Raiders have already beaten are going head-to-head in a fight to stay out of the AFC South cellar.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Greetings, Raider fans! It is I, the Great Raiderdamus, and I'm here to bring you another woeful NFL prime-time game tonight at 5:30 Pacific on NFL Network and probably CBS too. I realize that the NFL has to get every team on prime time at some point, but for God's sake don't put two bad teams against each other like this. Incredulous Jaguars Fan thinks this game is a terrible idea.

Both of these teams will likely be drafting in the Top Ten, and the Titans due to being smarter than the Rams will probably have two very high draft picks, so tonight is an excellent barometer for us who report on these things to determine which poor schmuck currently playing in the SEC is going to be part of these teams come next April.

The answers are, of course, Myles Garrett and Cam Robinson, but let's pretend we don't know that just to keep things interesting.

Speaking of interesting, this game is the antithesis of that word. I'd take an NFC East Game Of The Week over this monstrosity, and that's saying a lot for me. Hell, give me Cowboys vs. Patriots.

But, we have what we have, and so let's prepare to watch Heisman Trophy Winner Marcus Mariota strugglehump a stout Jaguars defense that Derek Carr shredded and also watch Blake Bortles derp his way through four quarters against a craptastic Titans defense that couldn't sack a pile of groceries. Are you ready for some football?
