Amari Cooper already in elite all-time company, he has 8 games to surpass them

The Raiders second year receiver moved into the top three all time in one category. And he’s on pace to move up list.

I am going to give you a list and you tell me what you think.

  1. Odell Beckham Jr
  2. Randy Moss
  3. Amari Cooper

This list is players who had games of 120 yards or more in their first two seasons. Beckham Jr holds the all time lead with 12 of them. Randy Moss is behind him with 10. And with his 173-yard game Sunday against the Buccaneers, Amari Cooper is third with 7 such games.

And we are just 24 games in. This means, Cooper has 8 more games this season to match or exceed those ahead of him in this category.

Coop already has four games of more than 120 yards this season, putting him on pace for 11 games of 120 yards receiving which would surpass Randy Moss and move into sole possession of the second most all time.

Right now he is third in the NFL in receiving. His 787 yards is behind only AJ Green (896) and Julio Jones (859). That is also some elite company to be in.
