We now move into the second quarter of the 2016 NFL season. Overall, it's been a rough four weeks to predict. The staff still has one prognosticator below .500 in his picks (Asher). And my Raiders picks this year have been pretty brutal, going 0-4 so far. That's never happened, but it makes for a *fun* storyline that I am a bad luck charm.
Well, then I have some bad news for you superstitious types. I have picked the Raiders to win this week with the Chargers coming to town along with the rest of the staff (just like when they lost to the Falcons in week two). So, if the Raiders lose, I expect some anger toward me for that. Such as it goes.
Last week despite my streak of incorrect Raiders picks going strong, my 10-5 record was tops on the staff. I came by it by being the only one to correctly pick the Saints to beat the Chargers and the Falcons to beat the Panthers. So, at least I can accurately predict those teams the Raiders have already played this season.
Going out on a limb this week are RDreamer picking the 49ers over the Carson Palmerless Cardinals, Asher picking Marcus Mariota to take out Miami like Hurricane Matthew along with the Giants to beat the Packers, and Marcus picking the Cowboys to beat the Bengals.
Unanimous picks are the Ravens, Vikings, Steelers, Eagles, Patriots, and Raiders*.
