Raiders-Broncos injury report: Mario Edwards Jr eligible to return, but still not practicing

This is the week the Mario Edwards Jr was eligible to return from partial season injured reserve where he landed due to a hip injury. But as of yet, he has not set foot on the practice field. Before he can be expected to play, he would at least have to see some limited work. His absence means he is almost certainly not going to play Sunday against the Broncos.

Sean Smith was not practicing. He is expected to miss this week with the shoulder injury he suffered in Sunday's game, but could return after the bye week when the Raiders head to Mexico City.

That bye week could prove very useful for getting Smith and Edwards back as perhaps getting Aldon Smith reinstated from suspension.

Others who were not practicing today for the Raiders included center Rodney Hudson and left guard Kelechi Osemele who both were sidelined with knee injuries. We will know tomorrow if they are just resting or not. Donald Penn was also not practicing, though it wasn't injury related.

The Broncos entire starting secondary didn't practice today which seems more like just a day off. We'll see who among them remains out Thursday.
