Greetings, Raider fans! The Great Raiderdamus is in full effect today, as the Chefs have lost to the Buccaneers, leaving Oakland in first place by themselves. It's a great day to be a Raider.
For those of us who have suffered through well over 20 years of Green Bay being as lucky and annoying as possible with their stellar quarterback play, unimpeachable home-field advantage and referee home cooking, it's refreshing to watch how they've completely fallen apart this year especially when the stupid smug faces of Packers players are all over television commercials. Green Bay is well behind Minnesota and the Lions in the NFC North and I hope they stay there.
On the other sideline tonight, the Indigenous Persons have bored and snoozed their way to a 5-3-1 record, and they're righting with the New York Giants to stay in Wild Card contention. Nobody is catching Dallas this yea, until the Super Bowl when the Raiders will get their shot. I have a basketful of eggs here, and I will count my damn chickens if I want to.
Tonight's game begins at around 5:30 Pacific Time on NBC and can be streamed here.
